The Secret Garden is an enchanting musical, based on the classic novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. With a Tony-award-winning book, a beautiful set, and a great score, this show promises to delight audiences of all ages. The Secret Garden opens this Friday, November 19th, and runs through Sunday, December 19th. Performances are Thursday through Sunday. (NB: I will not be performing on Sat 11/27 or Sun 11/28.) You can purchase tickets online (unreliable) or call the box office at (650) 349-6411 between 11am and 2pm. P.S. You can also get discounted ($13) tickets for the 11/20 or 12/11 performances! UPDATE 11/26: We got a glowing review from Keith Kreitman in the San Mateo County Times, who calls the show "a moving theatrical experience."
Replies: 2 comments Hello, Where to begin? I was looking up old friends online this morning and one of those friends is DeeAnn Sole. I found many websites mentioning her in relations to various games. That was my first clue that I had found the right DeeAnn. :) She has been a gamer for a LONG time. Your name came up in conjunction with hers on a few of those occasions... I decided to contact you to see if you still have contact with DeeAnn. If so, I wonder if I could bother you to pass along my email address to her. That way, if she has the time or the inclination, she can write back to me. I met DeeAnn and her ex Husband while DeeAnn was stationed in Great Lakes, IL. I began gaming with them at that point. That was around 1989. I also lived, for a time, with them in Virginia and Rhode Island. We eventually all ended up back in the Waukegan IL area (well, within 'x' amount of miles from that area anyway) and we stayed in touch for a long time. As it turns out, I married someone who ended up being the bane of my existance and bad feelings sprouted up between our little group of friends. I moved out of the area and the last I had heard, DeeAnn had left her ex and gone back to California. That was years ago. I have since divorced that husband and remarried a wonderful guy and we live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. DeeAnn is never far from my thoughts though. I wonder often as to how she is doing and if she is happy. Thank you for your time and have a wonderful Holiday, Joolz Posted by Julie McLaney (formerly Horn-Brich) @ 11/30/2004 06:51 AM PST
