This retailer boasts very competitive prices on computer hardware and software -- which you'll see if you go to CNET's excellent comparison shopping site, www.shopper.com -- but BuyComp's customer service is positively hideous. Saving a few bucks is not worth this kind of treatment.
The following is a record of all my E-mail correspondences with BuyComp, sorted by date. There are two threads: the first when I attempted to cancel an order, the second when I had trouble accessing the account I'd created on their web site.
Finally, I've included some commiserative exchanges with other consumers. Draw your own conclusions.
